Developments in the Constituent Process 2023

On Sunday, May 7, 2023, the election of the 50 members of the Constitutional Council took place, as part of the process to approve a new Constitution.  Following this, a draft of the new Constitution will be submitted by the Expert Commission on June 6, 2023. The Constitutional Council will have 5 months to propose the final text of the Constitution to be voted by plebiscite on December 17, 2023.
