Today, May 10th, 2023, was published in the Official Gazette the amendments to Law 20720 – on the reorganization and liquidation of companies and individuals. The purpose of this law is to facilitate access to bankruptcy proceedings for SMEs. See PDF on the matter.
The new Drug Trafficking Law was also enacted, which, among other aspects, incorporates the supervision of new entities that must report their activities to the Financial Analysis Unit (UAF). Its publication in the Gazette is pending. Finally, the Data Protection bill is in the third legislative procedure, on the verge of its promulgation. This will have an impact on the activities of multiple companies and industries.
