Law N°21.746 – Amends regulation on the granting and use of medical leaves of absence
On May 24, 2025, was published in Chile Law No. 21,746, which seeks to reinforce the supervisory powers of the agencies involved in the issuance of medical licenses and establishes or increases the administrative and criminal penalties for the misuse of such licenses. The new Law shall be applicable to the granting and use of medical licenses in the public and private sectors.
